Usage
Idler Iron Seal — a galvanised steel (SPCC) seal cover, the outermost guard in an idler seal stack. It shields the inner plastic or nylon labyrinth and bearing from rock impact, slurry and corrosion, and is normally combined with the inner seals rather than used alone.

TK vs DTII housing: which pattern do I need?
TK is the common CIS and mining pattern; DTII is the Chinese national belt-conveyor standard. Choose the pattern your idler was built to.

What is a pillow block bearing?
A pillow block bearing is a bearing set in a cast or stamped housing that bolts to a frame. In belt conveyors the same stamped housing (TK or DTII pattern) seals the idler bearing inside the roll.
What is the difference between a pillow block and a flanged bearing?
A pillow block mounts through bolt holes in its base to a flat surface; a flanged bearing mounts through its round flange to a face. Choose based on your frame geometry and the direction of the load.
