Integrated Belt Training Device

集成式纠偏装置

A conveyor belt roller that also trains the belt. The assembly corrects misalignment on the carrying side without external power — the belt's own edge force drives the correction.

Usage

Usage

Integrated Training Device — a complete, factory-set belt-alignment unit, often with rollers, pivot and sometimes powered assist, that mounts as one block to correct drift automatically. It gives consistent, hands-off training on critical lines without field tuning, and some versions handle both carrying and return strands.

Technical overview

Training idlers automatically steer the belt back to center when it begins to drift. HBXM self-aligning idlers use a pivoting frame that responds to belt edge force, correcting mistracking before it damages the belt or structure.

How do self-aligning idlers work?

A guide roll senses belt edge pressure and pivots the whole idler set so the belt is nudged back toward the centerline.

Where should training idlers be placed?

Place them every 10 to 15 idlers along both carry and return strands, especially after transfers and on long centers.

Do they need a power supply?

No. They are fully mechanical and react to belt forces, so they work without sensors, wiring or controls.

How often do they need adjustment?

Once installed they are self-correcting and typically need no routine adjustment, only inspection during planned maintenance.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How quickly will a trainer correct a badly off-centre belt?

On a 1000 mm belt, a correctly installed trainer brings the belt back within about 20–30 m of belt travel. If it does not, the cause is usually that the trainer is too close to the pulley or the belt is being pulled by something else — a seized idler, an off-square frame or a build-up on the pulley.

Does the belt have to be running to adjust it?

Yes, tracking can only be set with the belt running and loaded. Run at low speed first and watch the belt edge on the return strand, which shows what the carrying side is doing.

My belt runs to one side only when loaded. Is that a tracking problem?

Often not. If it tracks straight empty and drifts loaded, look first at the loading point — the chute is almost always dropping the load off centre, and no trainer can out-vote that.
