Polyurethane Belt Cleaner — a primary (1st-stage) scraper with a wear-resistant PU blade against the head pulley. PU holds a sharp edge far longer than rubber and resists abrasion and hydrolysis, giving reliable carryback removal on general bulk lines without the cost of an alloy blade.

Use a primary cleaner at the head pulley for bulk carryback, then a secondary cleaner downstream for the fine residual layer.
Which blade material lasts longest?
Polyurethane suits most dry and medium-abrasive ores; tungsten or ceramic-tipped blades are best for very hard, wet and sticky materials.
