TK is the common CIS and mining pattern; DTII is the Chinese national belt-conveyor standard. Choose the pattern your idler was built to.
Are HBXM housings interchangeable with original rolls?
Yes, our TK and DTII housings are dimensioned to standard shaft and bore sizes so they drop into existing idler assemblies.
How do I match a housing to my idler?

What is a pillow block bearing?
A pillow block bearing is a bearing set in a cast or stamped housing that bolts to a frame. In belt conveyors the same stamped housing (TK or DTII pattern) seals the idler bearing inside the roll.
What is the difference between a pillow block and a flanged bearing?
A pillow block mounts through bolt holes in its base to a flat surface; a flanged bearing mounts through its round flange to a face. Choose based on your frame geometry and the direction of the load.

Frequently asked questions
What actually kills idler bearings?
Contamination, far more often than load. Grit reaching the grease turns it into grinding paste, so the seal design and the housing bore tolerance matter more than the bearing brand.
Labyrinth or contact seal?
Labyrinth seals have lower friction and longer life in dry dust. Contact seals keep water and fine slurry out better but add drag — use them where washdown or flooding is real.
Are your housings interchangeable with the originals?
They are made to DTII/TD75 and common OEM dimensions. Send a sample or drawing and we will match the bore, seal groove and snap-ring position.
