Side (Guide) Roller — the wing roll of a troughing set, or a guide roller along the belt edge, that contains the load and prevents the belt from wandering off the idlers. The correct side-roll angle keeps bulk material on the belt through curves and transfers.

Technical overview
Idlers are the rotating rollers that support the conveyor belt and the bulk load traveling on it. HBXM idlers cover belt widths up to 2400 mm and trough angles of 20 deg, 35 deg or 45 deg, with multi-labyrinth sealed bearings built for continuous duty in dust, moisture and fine powder.
Why use a self-aligning idler?
A self-aligning idler automatically corrects belt mistracking, reducing edge wear, spillage and unplanned downtime.
What bearing seals does HBXM use?
We use non-contact multi-labyrinth seals that keep grease in and keep dust, water and fine powder out for a long service life.
Can idlers handle high-capacity mining lines?
